The short answer: Craigslist took its Personals section offline in the US on March 22, 2018, including on Craigslist Las Vegas. No single site replaced it. Personal ads in Las Vegas now live on Reddit’s r/vegasr4r, on classified-style sites such as Doublelist and SeekingList, in Locanto’s personals section, and in text-first apps including AseeksB. On October 6, 2026, we read the newest Las Vegas ads on four of them.
Las Vegas is one of the few cities where the first question is not what someone wants but whether they live here. Visitors arrive by the planeload and leave on Sunday. The people who stay live in Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, and Spring Valley, a long way from the Strip in everything but miles.
A personal ad settles that before the first message. You say what you are looking for, where in the valley you are, and whether you are open to someone who is only in town for the weekend.
The sites that replaced Craigslist Personals in other US cities serve Las Vegas too. Here is how each works for Las Vegas, from our checks on October 6, 2026:
We read the 20 newest Las Vegas ads on r/vegasr4r, Doublelist, and Locanto, and all 8 on SeekingList, and counted the ones that asked readers to move off-site or offered paid services: none on r/vegasr4r; 8 on Doublelist, all escort ads that gave contact details; 5 on Locanto, all posted as women and all giving phone numbers; and 3 on SeekingList, which offered paid services. Lex and AseeksB ads can’t be read without an account, so they weren’t counted. How we check.

Craigslist Las Vegas has had no Personals section since March 2018. Its missed connections listing is still there but quiet; more below. “doublelist las vegas” gets about 9,900 searches a month, down 33% on last year (Google Keyword Planner, October 2026). Doublelist has a Las Vegas page. Anyone can see ad titles, but reading a full ad needs an account. Posting is free for up to 3 posts, and seeing members’ photos takes a paid plan; its help center lists two, Hookup and Hardcore, at $45 and $90 a year.
On October 6, 2026, 8 of its 20 newest Las Vegas ads were escort ads that gave contact details. That is a snapshot of the newest ads on one day, not a measure of the whole site.

Craigslist Las Vegas’s missed connections, under Community, are quiet: on October 6, 2026, only 8 of the 20 newest posts it showed were from Las Vegas, going back to September, with the rest from nearby areas, and 1 of those 8 was a personal ad rather than a missed connection. In a city full of visitors, the person you saw may already be home, so say when you were there and whether you live here.

Beyond the apps. Pre-Dating Speed Dating runs speed dating through the Las Vegas Singles Speed Dating Meetup, which had about 1,500 members in October 2026. Las Vegas had about 38.5 million visitors in 2025, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. That makes personals here two markets at once: people who live in the valley, and people in town for a weekend or a convention. On AseeksB, every post shows how far away it was posted. Summerlin and Henderson sit at opposite ends of the valley, North Las Vegas is a city of its own, and the Strip is somewhere people work as often as they play. A good Las Vegas personal ad says the practical things up front: whether you live here or are visiting, and for how long, which side of town you are on, and what hours you keep.
In a city this full of visitors, a written ad does the sorting first: you know whether someone lives here, and what they want, before anyone drives across the valley.
